Shopify Technical Operations

Get the Shopify work off your queue.

Migrations, tracking, themes, apps and technical fixes — scoped, implemented and QA’d without adding another full-time developer.

No retainer required. Start with one store.

Real deadline. No manufactured urgency. This applies to non-Plus stores still using legacy Thank You and Order Status pages. The store’s own Upgrade Report determines what needs review.Send the report
01Scoped before payment

You know what is being done before work begins.

02Least-privilege access

Only the permissions required for the agreed task.

03QA before handoff

Tracking and relevant behavior are checked.

04Documented changes

You know what changed and what was verified.

Checkout upgrade path

The upgrade button is not the hard part.

The important question is what the current store depends on. The goal is to move required functionality to the supported setup — not turn every upgrade into a rebuild.

Honest read

Not every store needs a complicated migration. If the Upgrade Report is effectively clear, Relay Ops will say so. We are not looking for reasons to turn a simple upgrade into a project.

What we inspect

Understand what actually needs changing.

The Upgrade Report and current setup guide the scope. Relay Ops can review and handle agreed work around:

  • Legacy scripts
  • Tracking and pixels
  • Compatible replacement apps
  • Post-purchase customizations
  • Implementation changes
  • Verification after migration

You can begin with the report or screenshots. Broad store access is not required for the first conversation.

Beyond the deadline

The Shopify queue doesn’t disappear after August 26.

Before we touch the store

Scope first. Access second.

You see the work, the price and the permissions requested before choosing whether to proceed.

Send the problem

Upgrade Report, screenshot, error or existing scope. No credentials.

Review scope + price

We identify what appears to need work and what access it would require.

Approve + pay

The defined work is approved before implementation begins.

Grant limited access

Only the permissions needed for the approved task.

Implementation, QA, handoff

The change is completed, checked and documented.

White-label Shopify execution

Your client doesn’t need another vendor. They need the work finished.

Useful for deadline-driven migrations, technical overflow, work outside your core service and tasks consuming senior-team capacity.

Send one client task

Your client stays your client.

You keepThe account · communication · strategy · commercial ownership
We handleScoped implementation · QA · documentation
CommitmentOne task. No partnership commitment required.

Fit filter

When should you send something?

Good fit
  • A defined task nobody owns
  • A Shopify change that keeps getting pushed back
  • A real deadline is approaching
  • Your agency needs delivery capacity
  • You want to test an operator on one task
Probably not needed
  • Your technical team has the work covered
  • The Upgrade Report has nothing meaningful to migrate
  • You need a complete ecommerce strategy engagement
  • You expect a technical change to guarantee commercial results

Practical questions

Before you send the task.

Do you need store access to give me a price?

Not necessarily. An Upgrade Report, screenshots, an error description or an existing scope can be enough to begin. If access is required for proper scoping, Relay Ops will explain why.

Do I need a monthly contract?

No. Start with one defined task. Ongoing technical care is optional only when it makes sense afterward.

Do you guarantee conversion or revenue outcomes?

No. Relay Ops is responsible for the technical work agreed in scope, not for guaranteeing downstream commercial results.

Start with the report

Open Settings → Checkout → Upgrade Report.

Send what Shopify is flagging. Relay Ops will tell you what appears to require work.

No retainer required. No credentials needed to start.

Scope, price and required access are defined before implementation.
